Pagestays is a collection of practical PDF tools made by a small independent team. It helps you get ordinary document jobs done without making an account or sending a file to a processing server.
A useful tool should explain itself
Most PDF tasks begin with a small inconvenience: pages in the wrong order, a form that needs a value, or a document that needs to become an image. The interface puts those tasks in a document tray, with visible controls and a downloadable result. You can use a focused tool or keep working through several operations in the workspace.
We make clear distinctions between operations that can look similar. Cropping hides part of a page; it does not securely erase information. A signature image is a visible mark; it is not a certificate-based digital signature. Extracting text reads a text layer; it does not recognize text in a scan. Those differences matter to the person receiving your document.
Evidence before claims
Reference pages link to the source used for a dimension, limit, or product comparison. A last-checked date tells you when that source was reviewed. Vendor prices and features can change, and an account or region can affect what you see. We leave an unverified number out rather than give it the appearance of precision.
Worked examples use explicit assumptions. They illustrate a calculation or a workflow, not a measured success rate. We do not publish invented customer counts, reviews, certifications, or performance benchmarks.
Local processing, clearly described
The browser downloads the website and its libraries, then processes selected documents locally. File names and contents are not sent to Pagestays. The optional pricing-page waitlist is separate: it sends the email address you provide so we can share launch news about future paid features.
If a tool behaves differently from its explanation, tell us which operation and browser you used. Please describe the problem without emailing a private document. A small synthetic example is usually a better way to reproduce an issue.
